Market Abuse rules can be complex. Often it is not always clear what is and is not deemed to be ‘abuse’ of the market. Our Market Abuse eLearning consists of 18 short case studies based on real-world examples. The students are invited to review each case and then decide whether it is or isn’t Market Abuse. They will then see feedback, based on best practice, which will explain why it is considered to be Market Abuse or not.
Through a series of 18 case studies, this module demonstrates to students the following concepts in relation to Market Abuse:
  • Insider Dealing
  • Unlawful disclosure of inside information
  • Market manipulation
The module then goes onto look at the reporting requirements in relation to suspicions of market abuse.
